Terms of Service

By accessing or using FaceMatch (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use FaceMatch. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these terms.

You agree to treat others with respect. When using FaceMatch you must not:

• Display nudity, sexual content, or any sexually explicit behavior.
• Harass, threaten, bully, or discriminate against anyone.
• Use hate speech or attack others based on identity, race, religion, gender, or orientation.
• Share content involving minors, violence, or illegal activity.
• Record, screenshot, or redistribute another person's video, audio, or likeness without consent.
• Spam, advertise, scam, or attempt to defraud other users.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent who you are in a harmful way.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.

During a chat, you may award your partner one vibe point per pairing. Vibe points are a community reputation feature with no monetary value — they cannot be bought, sold, transferred, or redeemed for anything outside the Service. Attempting to farm points artificially (for example, by matching with yourself from multiple devices or coordinating with others solely to exchange points) is prohibited, and we may reset scores or restrict access where we detect abuse.

Reaching the required number of points unlocks the option to create a free account that preserves your points and profile across devices. Accounts are optional. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may adjust how points are earned, what they unlock, or discontinue the feature at any time.

You are solely responsible for your behavior and anything you say, show, or transmit on the Service. FaceMatch connects people in real time and we cannot pre-screen live conversations. We reserve the right to restrict or remove access from anyone who violates these terms.

If someone breaks these rules, please leave the conversation and report them to us. We may suspend or ban users, and may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

The FaceMatch name, logo, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission. Using the Service does not grant you any ownership of it.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of objectionable content from other users. You use FaceMatch at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaceMatch and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any other user, arising from your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or harms other users or the Service.

The Service is free to use and may be supported by advertising served by third parties, including Google. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from the Service itself, and we do not endorse the products or services advertised. Your use of any third-party website reached through an advertisement is at your own risk and subject to that party's own terms. The Service also relies on third-party providers for functions such as authentication and infrastructure; their availability may affect the Service from time to time.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FaceMatch regarding the Service. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
