FaceMatch is a free video chat that pairs you with one other person at a time for a live, face-to-face conversation. It runs entirely in your web browser, so there is nothing to install and no account to set up. You pick a nickname, choose how you identify and who you would like to meet, and start talking. When a conversation runs its course, a single tap moves you on to someone new.
The idea is deliberately simple. Most of the internet is built around profiles, follower counts, and carefully edited posts. FaceMatch is the opposite of that. That is the whole system. There are no streaks to protect, no daily quests, and no way to buy points. The only way your numbers go up is for real people, one conversation at a time, to decide you earned it.
Your points add up separately in each vibe, so your scores tell a small, honest story about how strangers experience you — maybe you are a 40-point roaster with a modest Mingle score, or the reverse. And because each partner can only ever give you one point per conversation, a high score can't be padded by one friend tapping a button over and over — it has to come from being genuinely good company across many different chats.
Reaching 100 points in any single vibe unlocks something new: the option to create a free FaceMatch account. An account is never required — the product stays anonymous by default, forever — but for regulars it solves a real problem. It ties your vibe reputation and your setup (nickname, identity, preferences, interests) to a sign-in instead of a single browser, so switching phones or clearing your history no longer wipes out what you have earned.
